Course Overview

This 4-day hands-on course introduces learners to Mitsubishi Electric’s MR-J4-B servo drives using the FX5 Simple Motion Module over SSCNET III/H. The training focuses on setup, control modes, and basic motion functions for efficient machine control and automation.

Course Content

• Fundamentals of Servos
  Understand the core concepts of servo systems and their applications in motion control.

• MELSOFT Motion
  Learn to use Mitsubishi Electric’s motion software for configuring and programming servo operations.

• Positioning
  Set up precise movement commands to control axis positioning accurately.

• Speed Control
  Configure servo motors to run at variable speeds based on application needs.

• Torque Control
  Manage torque output to protect mechanical components and control force.

Prerequisites

• Mitsubishi Electric iQ-F (FX5) Basic and Intermediate Training
  A solid understanding of Mitsubishi Electric FX5 PLCs is essential for this course.

• Mitsubishi Electric GOT (HMI) Basic Training
  Familiarity with Mitsubishi Electric HMIs is recommended for interface setup and testing.
