Course Overview

This 4-day hands-on training course covers the use of Mitsubishi Electric’s MR-J5-G servo drives with the FX5 PLC, focusing on integration via CC-Link IE Field Basic. The course provides practical skills in motion setup, control strategies, and industrial communication.

• Fundamentals of Servos
  Gain an understanding of how servo systems work and their role in motion control.

• MELSOFT Motion
  Use Mitsubishi Electric’s motion software for configuration, diagnostics, and motion command creation.

• Positioning
  Learn how to program and execute precise motion sequences for servo axes.

• Speed Control
  Adjust motor speed dynamically based on operational requirements.

• Torque Control
  Configure torque limits to ensure controlled, safe mechanical operation.

• CC-Link IE Field Basic
  Set up and use Mitsubishi Electric’s industrial Ethernet communication for seamless device integration.

Prerequisites

• Mitsubishi Electric iQ-F (FX5) Basic and Intermediate Training
  A good understanding of Mitsubishi Electric FX5 PLC programming and setup is essential.

• Mitsubishi Electric GOT (HMI) Basic Training
  Knowledge of Mitsubishi Electric HMI configuration and operation is recommended for complete system integration.
