Course Overview

This 4-day hands-on course focuses on the Mitsubishi Electric MR-J5-G servo drive system integrated with the FX5 Simple Motion Module over CC-Link IE TSN. Attendees will gain practical skills in motion control, configuration, and network-based servo communication.

Course Content

• Fundamentals of Servos
  Learn the basic principles of servo systems and how they function in automated environments.

• MELSOFT Motion
  Use Mitsubishi Electric’s motion software for configuring axes and creating motion profiles.

• Positioning
  Program precise linear and rotary movements to meet application requirements.

• Speed Control
  Adjust and manage motor speed using motion control instructions.

• Torque Control
  Limit and regulate torque output for smooth and safe operation.

• CC-Link IE TSN
  Understand how to set up and utilize Mitsubishi Electric’s high-speed, real-time industrial network for motion control.

Prerequisites

• Mitsubishi Electric iQ-F (FX5) Basic and Intermediate Training
  Prior knowledge of Mitsubishi Electric FX5 PLCs is required.

• Mitsubishi Electric GOT (HMI) Basic Training
  Experience with Mitsubishi Electric HMI setup and use is beneficial for integration and testing.
